Tarina Tarantino: Dollskin Cheek Palette

Swatches & Review
Since I last posted about Tarina Tarantino being discontinued, I will post up some swatches and review for the Dollskin Cheek Palette. It is no longer available on Sephora's website, but I have heard many people saying that they have found some in stores at the discounted price of $27, which is definitely worth it considering I purchased mine for $45.
This palette is in a plastic reflective packaging. What I hate about the packaging is that is is very fingerprint prone. I always have to wipe it down after I use it, which makes me not want to use it as much sometimes.
The top row from left to right is Feather and Parasol.
The bottom row from left to right is Carved Rose and Candy Cameo.
Feather is a shimmery peach.
Parasol is a shimmery coral
Carved Rose is a matte dusty rose pink
Candy Cameo is a glittery candy pink.

The pigmentation for these are really good. My swatches don't show them as well since I am indoor and the lighting today is dim (like last week), but they are there. It is very smooth and they blend out easily. Out of all the colors I think Parasol is one of the colors most similar to FratBoy, but just not with a matte finish like FratBoy is. The color I do not use much is Candy Cameo, just because I am not a big fan of glittery shades.

I really wish I was able to take this palette to San Jose with me last week since it has been sunny all week, but when I'm in school, I tend to not bring much makeup products since I do not use them much anyway. I mean, I'm going to school, why would I dress up all nice for it? I throw on sweats before leaving anyway! ... lol, life of a college student that wants to sleep in. I have had this for almost a year and I use it from time to time, but I just hate how I always have to wipe it down and wear gloves after wiping it because of fingerprints (I am very OCD about that). Another complaint about the packaging is that there is a layer of black plastic in there that just pops out once in a while and you can see the pan from there. The blushes itself is really good, but the packaging is pretty cheap. For the current price of $27, it is definitely a good value because you get FOUR smooth, pigmented shades, and I guess the packaging does not matter much since this is mainly for the bluses anyway. I would buy a back-up, but I think I already have enough blushes to last me a lifetime! What do you think about this shade? Have you purchased anything from the Tarina Tarantino line since it's being discontinued?

    1. Yup! Too bad it's fingerprint prone though.
