NARS Voulez Vous Eye & Cheek Palette

Preview:

Last year, NARS came out with a second version of their cheek palette for Nordstrom's Anniversary sale. I was hoping for something similar to that again, but unfortunately, it will be an eye & cheek palette, which is what their palettes have been like these past few months. Here is a preview of the Voulez Vous Palette:
Image found from Nordstrom.com

I don't know how to feel about this, but I DO like that they do not include their bronzer OR Orgasm blush in this. Instead, it will have Dolce Vita & Deep Throat, along with four new exclusive eyeshadow shades for this palette. This will retail for $59, and the each of the blush sizes are 0.15 oz, which isn't too bad of a deal considering one full-size blush has 0.16oz of product & retails for $29, so it's like buying two blushes and getting the eyeshadows with it.

What do you think about this palette? I'm on the fence about it, but since I don't have Deep Throat & Dolce Vita, I might end up picking this up.

Tarte Statement Lips 5-Piece LipSurgence Collector's Set

Swatches & Review
Today, I have some swatches from Tarte's Holiday Statement Lips set. When I purchased the Fantastic Foursome Set, I also ordered this as well. This set contains 5 full-sized LipSurgence. When I purchased this, Sephora said it was an "all matte" set, but after getting it, I realized only one is matte. I notice now that they have changed the description of it (I also called in to tell them about it as well).
The five shades that are in this is Escape, Enchanted, Exposed, Sweet, & Elite. From what I noticed, four of these shade names begin with the letter E! Maybe it is just a coincidence?
Two of the shades have a Lip Luster finish: Escape & Sweet.
Two are Lip Tints in Enchanted and Elite.
One has a matte finish.
If you did not know, the Lip Luster finish is shimmery, the Lip Tint finish is a soft sheen with no shimmer, and the Matte finish is a flat finish with no sheen so that it would look natural. All of these have a peppermint scent to it.
Escape: Shimmery light pink
Enchanted: Light mauve
Exposed: Matte nude rose pink
Sweet: Shimmery bright pink
Elite: Rose pink
After having it on for about fifteen minutes, I wiped these off with a dry tissue. You can see a slight tint from these. The most noticeable ones are Enchanted, Exposed, and Elite.

I will do individual reviews on each of them and have lip pictures for them as well. From the swatches, it seems like the colors are very similar to one another since they are just different shades of pink. Honestly, I thought Enchanted would be the darkest one, but it wasn't. However, Enchanted left a stain that is more noticeable than the rest of them. If you are interested in the set, I feel like this is a good value since it is 5 full-sized lip tints/lusters for $34, when they retail for $24 EACH. These will also make good presents since you can just split them up. Are you interested in this set?

Disney Cinderella Sephora Collection Storylook Palette

Remember how I just ranted this morning about placing an order on Sephora a few days ago & new items popping up just a few days later? Okay, so before placing my order, I checked out Too Faced and Sephora's new Cinderella collection. When I checked Cinderella on Sephora it said "Come back in October!", but now, the Storylook palette is on sale! I am so mad at myself for not waiting TWO more days. -____- anyway, here's how the palette looks like!

Image found on Sephora.com

It seems like this palette has an eyeshadow part that you can take out so if anything, you can end up keeping the box it comes with! For some reason, it reminds me of last years Kat Von D palette, but I really like the packaging for the Cinderella palette! I WANT IT, NOW!!

This retails for $55 and it contains 20 eyeshadows where each of them are 0.035oz.

Here are a few more items from this collection:
Moonlit Kiss Lipstick Set: $25
Midnight Hour Eyeshadow Palette: $30
A Brush With Fate Nail Polish Set: $24.50
Thoughts? :)

Too Faced Sweet Indulgence Palette

First of all, don't you hate it when you order something from a website and something else you also want decides to pop up just a day or two after? Yes, it happens to me ALL the time. Two days ago, I placed an order for Benefit and Tarte Holiday sets and today, Sephora decides to put up their yearly exclusive palette! When I was placing an order, the only Holiday collection from Too Faced was their Bon Bons set, which is not a Sephora exclusive. Today, Sephora posted up their yearly Too Faced Holiday collection which is called Sweet Indulgence.
Image found on Sephora.com

Like previous years, the Sephora exclusive Too Faced set comes with a full-sized primer. I have grown to love their Shadow Insurance. According to Sephora, this set contains:
- 16 x 0.06 oz Eye Shadows in In the Buff, Peach Fuzz, Marshmallow, Lovey Dovey, Copper Peony, Teddy Bear, Gum Drop, Malted Milk Ball, Satin Sheets, Nice Stems!, Nice Ash, Cherry Cola, Honeymoon, Pastille, Cop a Teal, Black Sugar
- 2 x 0.14 oz Blushes in La Vie en Rose, Papa Don’t Peach
- 2 x 0.14 oz Bronzers in an exclusive shade and Sun Bunny Light
- 0.14 oz Highlighter in Candlelight Glow
- 0.35 oz Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer in Candlelight
- Exclusive double-ended brush
- 3 x get-the-look cards

What I like about this set is that they also included a double-ended brush in this collection, which is something they have not done in previous years. Comparing the shades, they have released In the Buff, Peach Fuzz, & Teddy Bear in both their previous palettes. However, it is nice to see that Label Whore is not in here again. The repeat shades compared to last years are Lovey Dovey, Copper Peony, Nice Stems!, Nice Ash, Satin Sheets, Honeymoon & Cop a Teal. It seems that the shades that are not repeats are Marshmallow, Gum Drop Malted Milk, Cherry Cola, Pastille & Black Sugar. I guess if you do not mind repeats, then this is definitely worth it. Candlelight Glow was also in last years Sweet Dreams Palette and La Vie en Rose was in their 2010 Glamourland palette. They have three "get-the-look cards".. what is a Too Faced palette without those? lol! I like how this comes in a tin box as well. Although I have many shades from this collection, I would still get it just because I collect Too Faced's yearly Sephora exclusive sets. This retails for $52, which is the same price as last years. What do you think? Are you going to indulge? :)
