<big><big><center>Swatches & Review</big></big><br />
<br />
Muse is a shade from Zoya's Summer Bubbly Collection. Unlike the Tickled Collection, which consisted of cremes, the Bubbly Collection has six glitter jelly shades. I would call it a glitter jelly because the base color of the nail polish itself is sheer, and the glitter is not gritty at all once it is on the nails like regular glitter finish nail polishes so it looks more like a glitter-jelly sandwich. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZl-MX6D8bJr34g6UMKQ214MIXGVLeKJaH9k54mSVHiGbgik2uouxBWLZ255MED42JOMU5NG9xi1g4Kn6yQQQl_mH9deqMwdve-qqzWQz-vmYhPr58ctg49tOlZ596V56j8KR9Tfw8SqrI/s1600/Muse.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjZl-MX6D8bJr34g6UMKQ214MIXGVLeKJaH9k54mSVHiGbgik2uouxBWLZ255MED42JOMU5NG9xi1g4Kn6yQQQl_mH9deqMwdve-qqzWQz-vmYhPr58ctg49tOlZ596V56j8KR9Tfw8SqrI/s400/Muse.jpg" /></a></div></center><span class="fullpost"> <center>Zoya describes Muse as "a blue raspberry holographic fizz with a subtle vein of gold," which looks like it in the bottle. <br />
<br />
For the swatches of Muse, I took all the pictures in this post in low-light/in the shade. I originally swatched all of the shades from the Bubbly Collection under sunlight without being able to view it on my camera (the screen broke so the only time I was able to see it was after I uploaded, big mistake =x) and once I uploaded it all after swatching onto my computer, they were basically horrible looking under direct sunlight, so I had to redo it and I started with Muse.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivIE7kCvSyKohYL2dLxAs8a5sPE9EXJY2bbjqQ9JfoXR1ADttC0BWwCf2tThwST8JlpbUZcPfphzqPTQYYC6k6ItlTApoFyMMgV8S7XE-M3SHUXhypicmtw4RTC1vIIVGAJ94KbVwPXeoA/s1600/Muse1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivIE7kCvSyKohYL2dLxAs8a5sPE9EXJY2bbjqQ9JfoXR1ADttC0BWwCf2tThwST8JlpbUZcPfphzqPTQYYC6k6ItlTApoFyMMgV8S7XE-M3SHUXhypicmtw4RTC1vIIVGAJ94KbVwPXeoA/s400/Muse1.jpg" /></a></div>Muse is a gorgeous blue-green that reminds me of a mermaid's tail. The first coat was very sheer, but by the second coat, it looked fully opaque in shade, however, you would be able to see the nail line under direct sunlight so I would recommend three coats with this. Compared to the bottle, I feel like you see more color variation of the glitters in it instead of on the nail because the blue base totally covers it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6ipFWsqFvtj9zoCJaeG74quIvWeJ-M2OGLDJLYFErnpaRWJxSQ6ugnxQXwLYX5ElPIt-KmsNQaz5Pj4N0QzynW8tZ1eeywn4Dp1UVtlMF40SSUrOBG8EeoPYOsrzDVCUYsYgEOTbYqgPs/s1600/Muse2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6ipFWsqFvtj9zoCJaeG74quIvWeJ-M2OGLDJLYFErnpaRWJxSQ6ugnxQXwLYX5ElPIt-KmsNQaz5Pj4N0QzynW8tZ1eeywn4Dp1UVtlMF40SSUrOBG8EeoPYOsrzDVCUYsYgEOTbYqgPs/s400/Muse2.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhP5zs2YOdctAMoyrh8VFB4i6J3OLypTq6cjz109YpLNCgzA_UmDVlR-I-uip4tfGd6I5STKOcikNVPx55Kh3A7EEgpI8WX98CmE-oMyyqqZ-MzARTPMBgBbDXV3bw6jeESvS26qYkMIfQs/s1600/Muse3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhP5zs2YOdctAMoyrh8VFB4i6J3OLypTq6cjz109YpLNCgzA_UmDVlR-I-uip4tfGd6I5STKOcikNVPx55Kh3A7EEgpI8WX98CmE-oMyyqqZ-MzARTPMBgBbDXV3bw6jeESvS26qYkMIfQs/s400/Muse3.jpg" /></a></div><br />
For Muse, I actually wore this shade for the whole week without a base coat and a top coat to see how it wears. Normally without a base coat & top coat, blue colored nail polishes will stain my nails like crazy and it will chip a lot by the 3rd day. I did not find that with this because by the 5th day, I only noticed some minimal tip wear, which was crazy good at lasting on my nails. During that time, I have washed many dishes, my hair many times, and my three dogs and it did not peel or chip. When I took it off, there was no staining, but the glitter itself sticks on the nails even after the color of the nail polish is gone, which kind of irritated my nails (from my previous infection) because my nails itself has been thin and peeling a lot so the glitter sticking on it was painful to remove each time I had to remove them (it felt like I was peeling skin off of myself when the glitter came with it). The wear and no staining was what made me like the formula of this.<br />
<br />
When Zoya first introduced this as a scattered holographic collection, I was expecting it to be like the previous ones from their Holiday collections such as Dream, Blaze, Aurora, etc. However, this was totally different so I was a bit disappointed because it does not really seem <b>that</b> holographic. <br />
<br />
Overall, I really liked the color (when it was in the shade), formula, and the wear time. No staining for a blue nail polish is also a plus. I just wish the glitter would "pop" out more and have it look better under direct sunlight. Under direct sunlight, this polish looked "bleh" like it was not interesting at all, but I liked how it looked in low-light, and pretty much the same applied to all the other colors I have tried in this collection. <br />
<br />
Muse retails for $9 and can be purchased at <a href="http://www.zoya.com">Zoya.com</a>. <br />

<big><big><center>Swatches & Review</big></big><br />
<br />
For this month, BrandBacker has partnered with BA Star once again for their Summer Tropical Palette and I was sent the BA Star Tropical Palette and an eyeshadow primer for free to review as part of the campaign. Unlike the Midnight Smoky Eye palette that I have previously reviewed, this palette is filled with fun, bright summer colors!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoTOhyY0Mf0EzJYcyM88bDnIehSLIoLceQwTGDlL7kEe27Z9_g0KvohqRdDYHp3hGgpim9tqq8pSZA0BQ_nR7vfTVqzVXXzC30b511xpnAyPX13JQEomE-ExuRAUE-rLBadbZHy8O40mMd/s1600/BAT.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoTOhyY0Mf0EzJYcyM88bDnIehSLIoLceQwTGDlL7kEe27Z9_g0KvohqRdDYHp3hGgpim9tqq8pSZA0BQ_nR7vfTVqzVXXzC30b511xpnAyPX13JQEomE-ExuRAUE-rLBadbZHy8O40mMd/s400/BAT.jpg" /></a></div>The packaging for this is the same as the Midnight Smoky palette, which is plastic with five pans for eyeshadows.<br />
<br />

I will go from left to right because there are not names to each shade:<br />
1) Lime green with a metallic finish. I used two swipes in swatches because it applies sheer, but a primer helps intensify it a bit. I also found it a bit powdery.<br />
2) Bright metallic blue. I used two swipes, but it isn’t as sheer as the green.<br />
3) Metallic purple. I used four swipes because this applied very sheer.<br />
4) Bright pink. This seems more of a satin since it isn’t as metallic, but it’s not matte either. This was very powdery, but pigmented. I used two swipes for this.<br />
5) Metallic silver. This is also sheer, but would be nice to use over the other colors for more of a pop of metallic.<br />
<br />
I found that most the shades applied sheer except the blue and the pink, which were very pigmented. However, the pink was a bit chalky and very powdery. All the shades are build able, and I feel like using a white base would make the colors pop more. The primer helped a bit, but it did not really make too much of a difference and it feels heavy on the skin, which is why I probably would not prefer using this primer. However, I recommend using a primer (any kind you prefer) because without it, the eyeshadows will stain your skin. Although the shades do apply sheer, I actually like this palette because it is perfect for summer and the shadows do stay on for a while without rubbing off easily. <br />
<br />
From now until July 4, 2014, you can purchase this palette for 50% off with the code <b>50TROPIC</b> if you are interested in buying this product.<br />
<br />
This palette retails for $8.75 and can be purchased at <a href="http://bastar.com/">www.bastar.com</a>.<br />

<br />
In addition to the Summer Tickled Collection from Zoya, they have also released their Magical Pixie Dust line for Summer, which comes with three shades. One of the shades from the Summer Magical Pixie Collection is Bar. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXUlyZ9oWA0ioBoajLbFUHvaF0e1gtDXkcKCzZ4cU7sqX-fZ0msV36MqdA75nkhItHyr30gTUvbHiPVQIpboDznmQJmCVMxPjfkexWk1myCOFZPkggy6YWgN3EC_BkCOKOz5gFkmIjcjzd/s1600/Bar.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXUlyZ9oWA0ioBoajLbFUHvaF0e1gtDXkcKCzZ4cU7sqX-fZ0msV36MqdA75nkhItHyr30gTUvbHiPVQIpboDznmQJmCVMxPjfkexWk1myCOFZPkggy6YWgN3EC_BkCOKOz5gFkmIjcjzd/s400/Bar.jpg" /></a></div></center><span class="fullpost"> <center>In this picture, the swatch of Bar was taken in direct sunlight. Bar is a shimmery nude/sand beige. The first coat applied sheer so I used three coats for my swatches, however, my nail line was still visible. Although it is sheer, it is very very sparkly, so I notice the sparkle in sunlight more than my visible nail line. Like the rest of their Pixie Dust line, these dry quickly, which is a plus!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWINI7ZuawaEbznOA2NcJMaWcSpL65kUyjj7vx6c-5D6VQnHA8JrbQLcwfWFOj8JjjqPc-nOb3AmMvsY0hDxt6htC0LjmS2yyv3hDDR07LklXudgVECn5zd62ISVJCWIZqxEUtvN2-Hd93/s1600/Bar1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWINI7ZuawaEbznOA2NcJMaWcSpL65kUyjj7vx6c-5D6VQnHA8JrbQLcwfWFOj8JjjqPc-nOb3AmMvsY0hDxt6htC0LjmS2yyv3hDDR07LklXudgVECn5zd62ISVJCWIZqxEUtvN2-Hd93/s400/Bar1.jpg" /></a></div>This was pictured outdoor in the shade. In the shade, it definitely looks gritty since it's not in your face shining, but it's still nice. <br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9-baLwox94AmYBrl2WLh2lDXrbTv-F-tAuvG1kHBgO-TCmwqh7lvDmMA5M1YZ0ogy6QbcAWIAA-yfPQL3M5dqkNA58HBpMQUcuww2Fpl1liFy4duaEnSYoRfwNEDyy_be1YZ83k9kFpXC/s1600/Bar4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9-baLwox94AmYBrl2WLh2lDXrbTv-F-tAuvG1kHBgO-TCmwqh7lvDmMA5M1YZ0ogy6QbcAWIAA-yfPQL3M5dqkNA58HBpMQUcuww2Fpl1liFy4duaEnSYoRfwNEDyy_be1YZ83k9kFpXC/s400/Bar4.jpg" /></a></div>Taken up-close, you can see the texture of the nail polish better. Although it looks gritty, the gritty-ness of it wears off after a few hours of wear.<br />
<br />
Overall, I like how sparkly these Magical Pixie Dust more compared to the ones from the original line, however, they do feel a lot more gritty than the regular textured ones. As always, I like applying these a few hours before I shower so once it's dry and I take a shower, it definitely helps lessen the gritty-ness of it so that will not cling onto things like your clothes or cotton as easily. I'm more of a fan after the gritty feeling has dulled down to a sandy feeling than when it's rough. <br />
<br />
What are your thoughts of the Magical Pixie Dust? Do you prefer the Magical ones, or the ones from the regular textured line?<br />

<br />
Hi everyone! A few days ago, I posted the first part of the Tickled Collection, which is part of Zoya's Summer 2014 line. Today, I have the last three shades in the Tickled collection, which consists of six creme shades.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVQWlKjEQzsl76ovYmcgwgsGbVAx8Pea4piyRXzQW0wbGmHonRnETWavfLBNLKGRnhkpcOLt7MJXWhHxsWOabDuDOFIoRRBjVyAHycVxM-uJE5qhmCxe_AynCqgq7RfjkB3qs-bR67s5oR/s1600/ZSum.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVQWlKjEQzsl76ovYmcgwgsGbVAx8Pea4piyRXzQW0wbGmHonRnETWavfLBNLKGRnhkpcOLt7MJXWhHxsWOabDuDOFIoRRBjVyAHycVxM-uJE5qhmCxe_AynCqgq7RfjkB3qs-bR67s5oR/s400/ZSum.jpg" /></a></div><br />

This is the only shade in the Tickled collection that I noticed shimmer in when I was applying it, however, it really is not noticeable at all once it is dried on the nails. The formula on this was good. It applied evenly and was opaque in two coats.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjPtoE_Zxk0beEEt7m5QMFskDnY8xRhp3l81X6oTZ5rk-VXDM_zhJ179eN96lyJwHEvg38vIKQ-yVKKXYU1pG3vGPYpjW7-RO5ZcIsSS_NxGomHCLv-9Bak9ZMu_efJcKq8kPA78MZWd10/s1600/Zsum2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjPtoE_Zxk0beEEt7m5QMFskDnY8xRhp3l81X6oTZ5rk-VXDM_zhJ179eN96lyJwHEvg38vIKQ-yVKKXYU1pG3vGPYpjW7-RO5ZcIsSS_NxGomHCLv-9Bak9ZMu_efJcKq8kPA78MZWd10/s400/Zsum2.jpg" /></a></div><b>Tilda</b>: Bright apple green. Tilda was a bit on the thick side and looks very goopy when too much is used to apply so I recommend using thin coats for this. I used three thin coats for the swatches to make it look less goopy, and more even.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4X9P5cMS4_EpzehbTacvZFqTBMyy6xSOgiREJPalo-Te0Owo9nHZxE922rDpbH-PSKSxml5ae1tn7r_g_voB-Mgb8WvHZ-Dzu5IPJNfPd3EK8TPD7NTXftLfBbobqyzRmd-n_mGvekTKt/s1600/ZSum3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg4X9P5cMS4_EpzehbTacvZFqTBMyy6xSOgiREJPalo-Te0Owo9nHZxE922rDpbH-PSKSxml5ae1tn7r_g_voB-Mgb8WvHZ-Dzu5IPJNfPd3EK8TPD7NTXftLfBbobqyzRmd-n_mGvekTKt/s400/ZSum3.jpg" /></a></div><b>Ling</b>: Medium blue creme. The consistency & formula on Ling was great. It was very opaque in one coat, and applied very smooth and evenly. I used two coats for my swatches.<br />
<br />
Overall, I feel like the Tickled Collection is a great addition to creme finishes. Before, I always found that creme finish nail polishes would be very streaky, however, I did not experience that much in this whole collection with the exception of Kitridge, which did not have the best formula. In this part of the review, I found the color with the best formula was Ling, and it did not stain my nails, which surprises me every time a blue is not staining my nails since they usually stain my nails. Although the colors are bright, I did not experience any staining with any colors in this collection. <br />
<br />
What do you think about the Tickled Collection for Summer from Zoya? <br />

<big><big><center>Swatches & Review</big></big><br />
<br />
Hi everyone! I'm back with posting nail swatches and the reason why I have not been painting my nails much both on my blog and instagram is because I had a funky nail infection, so I had to stay away from swatching for more than few weeks because constant painting and removing the nail polish would have only made it worse. Anyway, for Summer 2014, Zoya has sent me their collections to try and review. One of the three collections is the Tickled Collection, which consists of six creme finish shades, and I will be reviewing three of the six in this post. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtH6hcgrJu2ABnS0uw8DuE__bIVOXLHFPyaJ3qioY1Kl7ebnm398A8hE2GUvyQJgNyZRrjwE6N38va3sDXAznn6NceIzRtbnXA4aiXETlZIFUN6f-53Pz6ph28P9pNUFrHppTJM1TkUZwv/s1600/TK.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtH6hcgrJu2ABnS0uw8DuE__bIVOXLHFPyaJ3qioY1Kl7ebnm398A8hE2GUvyQJgNyZRrjwE6N38va3sDXAznn6NceIzRtbnXA4aiXETlZIFUN6f-53Pz6ph28P9pNUFrHppTJM1TkUZwv/s400/TK.jpg" /></a></div><br />

The color on this was a bit hard to capture in natural lighting because with any camera I used, the pink will be super washed out and lighter than it appears. Indoors with a lamp lighting, it shows a more accurate shot of the color. I found that this was watery and applied streaky, however, the streaky-ness of it evened out in three coats. I also noticed that this dried semi-matte. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijkOoK2fsUeC1-FSUl9yGBw88GGvjfwhMzMzoBfNQEJEqD5xJQ9I_dUa-98Cxu4a1pAWuLCy_7eqThyBn6LAt60JlnmsQ8Cdl1b2-edVQ_nTMMZc54W1gKPEwaIowCncBbZhntKOhLMmXY/s1600/TK3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijkOoK2fsUeC1-FSUl9yGBw88GGvjfwhMzMzoBfNQEJEqD5xJQ9I_dUa-98Cxu4a1pAWuLCy_7eqThyBn6LAt60JlnmsQ8Cdl1b2-edVQ_nTMMZc54W1gKPEwaIowCncBbZhntKOhLMmXY/s400/TK3.jpg" /></a></div><b>Wendy</b>: Bright melon/coral creme. The formula on this was great. It applied evenly and smooth. I used two coats for my swatches of Wendy.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHqBKxDEhD5Z-38m98LIM9OEyGJqgeAZ60gWNjkRg6nWBTU5K0t2Lfks8DFDQzthyAOwspzQQ5gpaOx0hvlmejdU00bxV6LcG3UB2Cf45YHzOnTUktofBy_G-ELINJclLWnzG0C28HRHll/s1600/TK2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHqBKxDEhD5Z-38m98LIM9OEyGJqgeAZ60gWNjkRg6nWBTU5K0t2Lfks8DFDQzthyAOwspzQQ5gpaOx0hvlmejdU00bxV6LcG3UB2Cf45YHzOnTUktofBy_G-ELINJclLWnzG0C28HRHll/s400/TK2.jpg" /></a></div><b>Rooney</b>: Medium magenta creme. The formula on this was also great, and it applied pretty opaque in just one coat. I used two coats for my swatches, but you could definitely get away with one thick coat. <br />
<br />
I feel like these dry better than many Zoya nail polishes that I have reviewed before, and Kitridge and Wendy dry semi-matte, with Kitridge being more noticeably matte without topcoat. My favorite color from this is Wendy because I do not have many coral shades like this in my nail polish collection, and my favorite formula was Rooney because it applied very evenly in just one coat. <br />
<br />
What do you think about the Zoya Summer collections? Have you purchased any to wear for summer? :)<br />

<big><big><center>Swatches & Review</big></big><br />
<br />
Maybelline is releasing a bunch of new permanent items in the months of June & July, which is exciting because they are finally adding to their line of Color Tattoos! The new Color Tattoos will have the theme of Leather, so the shades are named after leather shades. There are five colors in the Leather Color Tattoo collection, however, I only want four so my boyfriend purchased four of the five for me to review. Out of the four shades I purchased, two were matte, and two had a shimmery finish.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5xUFA0r9j8hXd6qqACNOIeQc9FIfw7Vcrm9UeCzA_-Il0KguTHZNpHmyg6cv6IKnc1tRxm4pvug8B4E4qzcumS0sEkrJK_dVmRRy1WDhoa6J02EFnAwRgy3UwyQv58ncTLNNG8r_hTMqO/s1600/CT.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5xUFA0r9j8hXd6qqACNOIeQc9FIfw7Vcrm9UeCzA_-Il0KguTHZNpHmyg6cv6IKnc1tRxm4pvug8B4E4qzcumS0sEkrJK_dVmRRy1WDhoa6J02EFnAwRgy3UwyQv58ncTLNNG8r_hTMqO/s400/CT.jpg" /></a></div>Like all the Color Tattoo products from Maybelline, all of them are shrink-wrapped.<br />

This was very creamy and smooth. This applied very evenly and pigmented. The shimmer is not very noticeable unless you're in direct sunlight. This was my favorite in application, and color.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigbFZ2l6vyrpvPrVr4UMJL1t1MHR4BBfxhiYipueoSIt3i0MjBXEEOgtwxsa2AIsNf-tDfQ6Faq4MnTWIFCRL83vtoxe6gM-HUeWg3fYdvNvVosDckLvuL5dX9lkpdpHoF_0HJSagnW8O6/s1600/CT4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigbFZ2l6vyrpvPrVr4UMJL1t1MHR4BBfxhiYipueoSIt3i0MjBXEEOgtwxsa2AIsNf-tDfQ6Faq4MnTWIFCRL83vtoxe6gM-HUeWg3fYdvNvVosDckLvuL5dX9lkpdpHoF_0HJSagnW8O6/s400/CT4.jpg" /></a></div><b>Deep Forest</b>: Matte grey-ish/green. This did not feel creamy like Creamy Beige, but a bit stiff from the pot. It also applied patchy and uneven since it was a bit dry. I tried to layer it about four times in the swatches because the first layer was incredibly sheer and patchy. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHHx1sGn3CfE9h8i4Tufmq0680MvMMCyjje8u15MoxDd1eJ42PBWNkA27pmVi_Nhg3HcX_nQWmbS6CCUutHO4tS8-U_4VC-oyjKPz7vjiaeXdgoRJZyT-zdh6pVI2VTWYAXdogWjcWgNkX/s1600/CT5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHHx1sGn3CfE9h8i4Tufmq0680MvMMCyjje8u15MoxDd1eJ42PBWNkA27pmVi_Nhg3HcX_nQWmbS6CCUutHO4tS8-U_4VC-oyjKPz7vjiaeXdgoRJZyT-zdh6pVI2VTWYAXdogWjcWgNkX/s400/CT5.jpg" /></a></div><b>Vintage Plum</b>: Matte violet. It did not look very plum-like to me, but more of a purple/blue to me. This also applied patchy & uneven, but it was better than Deep Forest.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgU0rv1NBlKAKVTh1EsV8lr1s56ufUaM_jiTQmzcfnrkUV-bsQhZzAdk_ijFDEQbThI6zvEzWEQ_A2BdU4rOqDxY0trGL16BtDlZ8hTbb9S8dWHb0zJVMfcPNQEQsFPAEolh0c5etStGjIt/s1600/CT6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgU0rv1NBlKAKVTh1EsV8lr1s56ufUaM_jiTQmzcfnrkUV-bsQhZzAdk_ijFDEQbThI6zvEzWEQ_A2BdU4rOqDxY0trGL16BtDlZ8hTbb9S8dWHb0zJVMfcPNQEQsFPAEolh0c5etStGjIt/s400/CT6.jpg" /></a></div><b>Chocolate Suede</b>: Shimmery chocolate brown. Chocolate Suede was very pigmented, and applied evenly & smoothly. The color reminds me of leather couches whenever I'm furniture shopping. <br />
<br />
I was expecting all the shades to be mattes from this collection so I was not expecting Creamy Beige & Chocolate Suede to be shimmery, but then they were two of the best applying ones because they were so creamy straight from the pot. The two matte ones applied patchy, similar to Just Beige from the Holiday Gilded in Gold Matte Color Tattoos collection, but Vintage Plum is buildable, while Deep Forest just was not working for me. What do you think about these new additions to the Color Tattoo line? <br />

<big><big><center>Swatches & Review</big></big><br />
<br />
Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of reviews these past few months. It has been a hell of a semester at school, but if you have been following me on instagram, I am graduating this semester (this coming week)! But of course, I still have finals up until the day that I graduate. Anyway, I today, I have a review of the BA Star Midnight Smoky Eyeshadow Palette from a BrandBacker campaign. There were two shade selections for the palettes, and I was sent the Smoky palette. I have never tried anything from BA Star before so I was curious to try it, especially since I love eyeshadows.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_3tj6OWpFT2aGu20hg3rbgkgswPs3iNx_4W86vZQie4KCLyZ1XjKNWt7B_zos0-4yH5c_kuQuS3Mx9jXs2sueRQyjvdrpO0tWkvKO4-sAcBCxn_zgnb8tt7aAH7MWkGOsjRtOHaPoFLSB/s1600/BA.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_3tj6OWpFT2aGu20hg3rbgkgswPs3iNx_4W86vZQie4KCLyZ1XjKNWt7B_zos0-4yH5c_kuQuS3Mx9jXs2sueRQyjvdrpO0tWkvKO4-sAcBCxn_zgnb8tt7aAH7MWkGOsjRtOHaPoFLSB/s400/BA.jpg" /></a></div>The Midnight Smoky Palette came with a small primer.<br />
<br />
</center><span class="fullpost"> <center><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaFQvxR8aq5IZ3GjmjSxB1xuitcpgRs_Yypdg87WqaQmoT4EnvMoy-odGZPyXBsgnuzFG1gNG6jnVSMTP5L6K1rgUZepDKQSjNfze3LIQO9pQozwlnVrbAEPFmozWxuYw_ydYWD02mW8vz/s1600/BA1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaFQvxR8aq5IZ3GjmjSxB1xuitcpgRs_Yypdg87WqaQmoT4EnvMoy-odGZPyXBsgnuzFG1gNG6jnVSMTP5L6K1rgUZepDKQSjNfze3LIQO9pQozwlnVrbAEPFmozWxuYw_ydYWD02mW8vz/s400/BA1.jpg" /></a></div>The top part did not have primer, and the bottom part had primer. It is the most noticeable with the black shade since it has a line where the primer begins. <br />
I don't believe there were any names to the shades so I will go from left to right:<br />
One: Pearly white. This applied sheer, but would be nice to use as a topper for other shades. It wasn't very powdery either.<br />
Two: Shimmery silver. This also applied sheer.<br />
Three: Shimmery grey. This applied sheer, but was build-able. <br />
Four: Matte black. This shade was dry, chalky, and powdery.<br />
Five: Shimmery blue. This is the most pigmented shade, and the least powdery shade in the palette. <br />
<br />
The primer I used on the bottom half were from the primer provided with the palette, however, there is not much difference when it is used. I found that the primer was easy to use and non-sticky, but it did not really help in keeping the eyeshadow in place. When I wiped the eyeshadow on my arm with a tissue, I found that the half with the primer came right off, while the half without the primer stayed better on my arm. The shade that performed the best for me was the blue shade on the right, and the one that performed the worst was the black shade. Even when I used a brush, the black shade was super powdery and gave a lot of fall-out, despite tapping my brush. Overall, I was not a big fan of the palette itself.<br />
<br />
Here are a few other things I noticed:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjZRWfWQq9e_bZ__ZAcv7JKfALzoC5qxdrwlJFszIOeNd56ECtNuC512EBZ2r7JMhxux-I_dZf5tvOdB8-lyLGbjNlWPfZghgKy9Xsy3gl7RFyUZS5uzUjYTkg29XRUXEhAz7NbjRLzLTM/s1600/BA2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjZRWfWQq9e_bZ__ZAcv7JKfALzoC5qxdrwlJFszIOeNd56ECtNuC512EBZ2r7JMhxux-I_dZf5tvOdB8-lyLGbjNlWPfZghgKy9Xsy3gl7RFyUZS5uzUjYTkg29XRUXEhAz7NbjRLzLTM/s400/BA2.jpg" /></a></div>There was hair, or strands of black string in the white eyeshadow, and black dots all over, which did not make it look appealing. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_uYzTFPf05Ukv0X9sF8KY5q0d320gHuS9l7-oHO6IzV9k4yvsf-w3aORVk62Qjgzqf4jVSm21pfDch3kKybECtG42ZEJIWP6B9eszgF3ADxvyXylQiJzbr9cO9xiGOXWfyrQCEYXIgVHm/s1600/BA3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_uYzTFPf05Ukv0X9sF8KY5q0d320gHuS9l7-oHO6IzV9k4yvsf-w3aORVk62Qjgzqf4jVSm21pfDch3kKybECtG42ZEJIWP6B9eszgF3ADxvyXylQiJzbr9cO9xiGOXWfyrQCEYXIgVHm/s400/BA3.jpg" /></a></div>The brush: Even though I barely ever use the brushes the come with palettes, this one looked terrible. Not only was it hard and scratchy, the hair of the brush was sticking out on the other side of the brush, which looked poorly made to me. I understand that this is a low-price makeup palette & I should not expect much, but these two problems I noticed would make me not even want to buy it if I saw it in person. <br />
<br />
This palette retails for $8.75 and can be purchased at <a href="http://bastar.com">www.bastar.com</a>.<br />

<big><big><center>Swatches & Review</big></big><br />
<br />
I have received the Uni VoxBox for free from Influenster to review. My package was delayed getting to me, and after receiving it, I did not really have a chance to test out the products until this past week. Anyway, Influenster is a site that sends out complimentary products from time to time depending on the badges and questionnaires that each individual has taken. If Influenster feels you are the right match for the box, they will select you to take an additional survey to see if you qualify for the box. I have qualified for the Uni VoxBox, which is perfect because it includes some cosmetics, and essentials for me as a college student. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCX5T6eDz_IlexgRdAGSJCbqDbaX2MK2SjI_m9DUSOwhZCEDsHnLXKPAatv1EuCVH4NlhO6QrBMHFOUv43hK3sIEfbxbI83Kzuo233BuIb5JUKF7Tu6ySFDKsAl3uu-PhKIJyeLj6BLN9w/s1600/UVB.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCX5T6eDz_IlexgRdAGSJCbqDbaX2MK2SjI_m9DUSOwhZCEDsHnLXKPAatv1EuCVH4NlhO6QrBMHFOUv43hK3sIEfbxbI83Kzuo233BuIb5JUKF7Tu6ySFDKsAl3uu-PhKIJyeLj6BLN9w/s400/UVB.jpg" /></a></div>The Uni VoxBox includes: imPRESS Press-On nails, NYC Cosmetics Expert Last Lip Color in Forever Fuchsia, Pilot Acroball pen, Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation, Playtex Sport Fresh Balance tampons, and Red Rose REAL TEA Premium Water Enhancer.<br />
<br />
</center><span class="fullpost"> <center><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQd6GqjCg63BxAGdORP9jL1C-kmUIprTQ-fq6y6MyBJv-Fw2m-ASJf77whyFnY_oSoAwDc_-bvVVfh2ZzgxuM9Pi_9Rezj5ZptKrjMIiVsyMCFS8L0MhBi5TBpm_yJYKlIYpiusOu4byLn/s1600/UVB1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQd6GqjCg63BxAGdORP9jL1C-kmUIprTQ-fq6y6MyBJv-Fw2m-ASJf77whyFnY_oSoAwDc_-bvVVfh2ZzgxuM9Pi_9Rezj5ZptKrjMIiVsyMCFS8L0MhBi5TBpm_yJYKlIYpiusOu4byLn/s400/UVB1.jpg" /></a></div>If you follow me on Instagram, or know me personally, you know that I absolutely love, and hoard pens. I can never have one pen in class, I need variety, and color. Ball-point, gel, liquid, I have tried them all. The Pilot Acroball PureWhite pen retails from $4.59 for a 3-pack to $7.49 for a 5-pack. The Pilot Acroball pen has a nice grip for your fingers to hold onto the pen, and the ballpoint is not very thick, which makes the writing easier to control. Although it claims that it is smooth writing, I feel like it does cut in and out whenever I am writing in class. Some letters sometimes end up having no ink, while some do. For the price, I would probably skip out on this one because the writing feels like the free pens that are frequently passed out for free on campus. The grip itself is nice though, but not worth the price. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHLtLnnofHIDfpbu4bAvtJwkkvLWcqj-Bxww9D_ypDDdv8QWydDYzqFCsRDgO-CiSQP2pRiPVxvT8Kv0-0LQmsHmuinoJyX8nzMlS9f5PxnsvMF9fW0bewN2GU4K4cHmhCVZ10F6CqE2Xq/s1600/UVB2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHLtLnnofHIDfpbu4bAvtJwkkvLWcqj-Bxww9D_ypDDdv8QWydDYzqFCsRDgO-CiSQP2pRiPVxvT8Kv0-0LQmsHmuinoJyX8nzMlS9f5PxnsvMF9fW0bewN2GU4K4cHmhCVZ10F6CqE2Xq/s400/UVB2.jpg" /></a></div>Before receiving the Rimmel London Stay Matte foundation in the VoxBox, I have already tried and used the foundation before. The color I chose for this is Classic Beige because I already own True Beige, and Sand. Classic Beige seems like a good fit for me in the winter because it is lighter than the other two I own. The foundation comes in a squeeze tube, which makes it easy to control the amount that comes out of the tube. It comes out pretty thick, and mousse like, which is what the foundation is described as. Be careful to not put too much because it becomes hard to blend, feel heavy, and look cakey. I feel like this foundation would be best for those who have normal to oily skin because this shows every single dry spot that I have on my face, but definitely moisturize before using this. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0-WgBITReNhrRIOTkPElJkcVdzi6ROB0KdPUSkXIYwcmI9iyy4wngcWOK5aErbmyWDCkFT2SOgge0H_xgrR9VOQP-7NLe07vtGlRy8NOoPlRFQPvBoL1J4dS9IEajfJQvhV3_7QayopNU/s1600/UVB3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0-WgBITReNhrRIOTkPElJkcVdzi6ROB0KdPUSkXIYwcmI9iyy4wngcWOK5aErbmyWDCkFT2SOgge0H_xgrR9VOQP-7NLe07vtGlRy8NOoPlRFQPvBoL1J4dS9IEajfJQvhV3_7QayopNU/s400/UVB3.jpg" /></a></div>NYC Cosmetics recently released their Expert Last Lip Color in new packaging, but the colors are the same as when they were in the black packaging that has been recently discontinued. The Expert Last Lip Color has a sweet fruity scent, which I am not a fan of. Although the product itself looks a bit dark, it applied lighter on me than it appeared. Forever Fuchsia has silver shimmer in it, which is very noticeable on the lips. The formula in this shade felt drying, and needed the lips to be exfoliated before applying. I have tried other shades that I have liked, but this shade and the formula just did not work for me. Forever Fuchsia looked like a Nicki Minaj/Barbie Pink on me. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8mIVJO3kuob2WpYpn2LDr2e9RSmTN1D0idroqUqJzMDsxPqCxQ401UOIeQhxbt4tghsjhZUTJpTvaCVpyy3B41HSeGTzrCzKOkOadsBPHY-kukzW12pTBqf2YGH7dKRC3Dog0fvlGB-01/s1600/UVB4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8mIVJO3kuob2WpYpn2LDr2e9RSmTN1D0idroqUqJzMDsxPqCxQ401UOIeQhxbt4tghsjhZUTJpTvaCVpyy3B41HSeGTzrCzKOkOadsBPHY-kukzW12pTBqf2YGH7dKRC3Dog0fvlGB-01/s400/UVB4.jpg" /></a></div>The last cosmetics item I received was the imPRESS Nails in First Date. It is like a light brown shade. I am not a fan of false nails, but I decided to try this. However, I wasn't able to really use it since the "biggest" nails for too small for my nail beds. The middle picture is the nail on my pinky, and the one on the bottom is on my index finger. Although there's 12 sizes, none worked for me at all, so if you have big nail beds, avoid this!<br />
<br />
Have you received any VoxBoxes from Influenster? What are your thoughts about these items if you have tried them before?<br />

<big><big><center>Swatches & Review</big></big><br />
<br />
Hi everyone! Today, I have a review of Studio Gear Cosmetics Hydrating CC Cream for you today as part of a campaign with BrandBacker. I have never tried any CC Creams before so I was curious to try it. I also have not tried much from Studio Gear except their lipsticks so I was curious about their face products as well.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9AQ4SVcOcoicgkUqOTxkaqtwmV0C1WMbfbW5mNezubNkeESRQGlfNIWb9BScQYqtbQo2F8cpVGaYNudMaN8bmnfnoNkFloK1a_wGe2X6uIGLlJXB8rkdWqToyU1aspJAO9br_av0zfer_/s1600/CC.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9AQ4SVcOcoicgkUqOTxkaqtwmV0C1WMbfbW5mNezubNkeESRQGlfNIWb9BScQYqtbQo2F8cpVGaYNudMaN8bmnfnoNkFloK1a_wGe2X6uIGLlJXB8rkdWqToyU1aspJAO9br_av0zfer_/s400/CC.jpg" /></a></div>The CC Cream is packaged in a squeeze tube packaging, which I like because you are able to control how much you squeeze out, and bacteria does not get into it as easily since there's no double dipping or having a wide opening. This CC Cream also contains SPF 20.</center><br />
<span class="fullpost"> <center><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguHsP2iLqbdHLnaty1Zw2zdjgm5jOjscCMnc26br6NXLhwn6yyV66Jp2h_DMELpuv-Wt6breEFioztXfoUY-pCpufjxa-SfuQPjNirZDYTGWwGxmVZjDtlU8mRgNdcacxapT5ic9g9tu0t/s1600/CC1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguHsP2iLqbdHLnaty1Zw2zdjgm5jOjscCMnc26br6NXLhwn6yyV66Jp2h_DMELpuv-Wt6breEFioztXfoUY-pCpufjxa-SfuQPjNirZDYTGWwGxmVZjDtlU8mRgNdcacxapT5ic9g9tu0t/s400/CC1.jpg" /></a></div>When I first squeezed the product out, I was like "wow, this is really pale," but after blending it out, I realized that the shade gets darker. According to the packaging, this product is supposed to adapt to the skin of the person using it. Although it looks like it adapts to the skin, I feel like it just always results in the same color because I have tested it on my mother, who has a lighter skin complexion than I do and when we compared the color that it was once it's blended, it was the same color. It was pretty cool seeing the color show up and change though. <br />
<br />
So the reason why I did not show the product on my face is because when I decided to try it last week when I received it, my face immediately started to feel itchy and red bumps were starting to form on my face so I took the item off after applying it. During the time it was on my face, it did not feel very lightweight and felt greasy, which was not a good feeling at all. I also noticed that the coverage was very minimal so it did not cover the red spots on my face, and there was a strong floral detergent-like scent to it. I do not know if it really does hydrate for 72 hours since I didn't even have it on for over half an hour, but if you are sensitive to scents and break-out easily, I would not recommend the Studio Gear CC Cream. <br />
<br />
The Studio Gear Cosmetics CC Cream retails for $34 and comes in three shades.<br />

<big><big><center>Swatches & Review</big></big><br />
<br />
For Spring, Zoya released three new Pixie Dust shades in Cosmo, Lux, and Vega. Although Zoya has had many Pixie Dust shades in their textured nail polish line, the Magical Pixie's are different because they contain holographic glitter, which the previous textured shades did not have. The first shade that I tried from the Magical Pixie line is Cosmo. <br />
<br />

<br />
To me, Cosmo is exactly how Zoya describes it, which is a silver crystal sparkle. Although it is a bit hard to see in pictures, Cosmo was very very shiny and sparkly in real life. Wearing it made me feel like I had princess nails because it was shiny like Cinderella's glass slippers. If you have tried the regular line of Pixie Dusts before, these feel grittier than the sandy texture that the regular line has, but the gritty feeling wears off after showering. Cosmo applied nicely because it was not too thick, or thin and it dried quickly, which made it fast and easy to put on a second coat.<br />
<br />
These are available on <a href="http://www.zoya.com">Zoya.com</a> now and retails for $10 per 0.5oz bottle. <br />

<br />
After seeing theBalm's new eyeshadow palettes on Kohls online, I waited for them to show up at the retail locations so that I can see them in person. My local Kohls was able to get them in this week so I went to Kohls as soon as I could. I do not know when the official release of these are supposed to be or if it is exclusive to Kohls because I have not seen it on theBalm's website. The Smoke Balm has two separate palettes, but they are only named by "Set One" & "Set Two". The one with the grey packaging is Set One, and the one with the green is Set Two. Each palette has three eyeshadow shades.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYJ4EVtzXgFSu0Utu2V7ocVh4TBubaf7Ana947iKKVGSoIQYzu1aTKlIKmQoFlxunCxwxpAisisOO9c_PiRc6Mlgs-SZN0iBY3WEESG3CeDzuWWsyitajQEh9NzQ39HEZh6q61xFSNW6OP/s1600/SmokeBalm.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYJ4EVtzXgFSu0Utu2V7ocVh4TBubaf7Ana947iKKVGSoIQYzu1aTKlIKmQoFlxunCxwxpAisisOO9c_PiRc6Mlgs-SZN0iBY3WEESG3CeDzuWWsyitajQEh9NzQ39HEZh6q61xFSNW6OP/s400/SmokeBalm.jpg" /></a></div></center><span class="fullpost"> <center>As always, the packaging for theBalm is super cute. In Set One, it says, "Warning: Men may stop drop and roll" & in Set Two, it says, "Warning: May cause shortness of breath in men." Totally theBalm-like. <br />
When swatched using my fingers, both of the first two shades in each palette apply a bit patchy. The third shade in both palettes, the shimmery pearl & beige were very pigmented and a little goes a long way. However, the eyeshadows itself felt like most of theBalm's eyeshadows I have tried, which are smooth and buttery. <br />
<br />
When swatched using a brush, the eyeshadows applied better, which was not as patchy as when I applied it with my fingers. The eyeshadows are very smooth, so it did kick up a bit of powder, which may lead to some fall-out, so tapping the brushes used with these are definitely recommended. <br />
<br />
Overall, I feel like both of these are pretty similar to actually purchase both. These are perfect for a simple little palette for a smokey eye and each eyeshadow contains 0.12 oz of product, which is like twice the size of a full-size Urban Decay eyeshadow. I also like how it has different finishes in the three eyeshadows provided in each palette because there's a glittery one, a matte one, and a shimmery one. These retail for $12 and can be purchased online at <a href="http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-1687626/thebalm-smoke-balm-eyeshadow-palette.jsp">Kohls(link)</a>--non-affiliated & at Kohls with an extended beauty department. <br />
<br />
What do you think about these Smoke Balm palettes? Do you prefer Set One, or Set Two?<br />

<big><big><center>Swatches & Review</big></big><br />
<br />
For Spring 2014, Milani has released a while bunch of lip colors, as well as other products as well. A few months ago when they posted a sneak peek of the Power Lips, I originally thought they would be like lip crayons, but these are gloss stains with a brush attached to the tube to apply. Although they were not what I expected, I still wanted to try these so I was excited when I finally found them after a display reset at a few CVS locations. Milani claims that the Power Lips have a long lasting shine, stain, and color coverage. Milani also states that these have a cushion feel on the lips for a comfortable wear. There are a total a eight shades in the Power Lip line, but I have only purchased five of the eight.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6Cl6uQZYdoFZlKzqtpJm_Kb3_wG8pbK0QobhdPPNiv_miDrXA7wmIhiJCRZwQ9VInTUBd44dOJbYq8IUYB_hMgj2ZwGmoduF9Rh2i9gNBtTjBsRC_fU3pgr0yx6z7woJPl7iLWRl0s2Bg/s1600/PLip.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6Cl6uQZYdoFZlKzqtpJm_Kb3_wG8pbK0QobhdPPNiv_miDrXA7wmIhiJCRZwQ9VInTUBd44dOJbYq8IUYB_hMgj2ZwGmoduF9Rh2i9gNBtTjBsRC_fU3pgr0yx6z7woJPl7iLWRl0s2Bg/s400/PLip.jpg" /></a></div>All of the Power Lip products are packed individually, which is nice since it discourages people to open these to try in store.<br />
<br />
</center><span class="fullpost"> <center><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiO7H0Lo3pSWBbq5aqP4Inos6CsWQqDC8xElhP5aoTtL-X_N4cVQf0x6mclZ4hRjfGjsBokAyBa-7mgVieyeEWAwChObpAejXg854C1kVbnuDD2TV0we6I6Zk2hewsszL3OQ_R8HZpZXsq/s1600/PLip1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiO7H0Lo3pSWBbq5aqP4Inos6CsWQqDC8xElhP5aoTtL-X_N4cVQf0x6mclZ4hRjfGjsBokAyBa-7mgVieyeEWAwChObpAejXg854C1kVbnuDD2TV0we6I6Zk2hewsszL3OQ_R8HZpZXsq/s400/PLip1.jpg" /></a></div>Each shade is packaged in a plastic tube that is supposed to be the shade. Personally, I don't like this too much because I am unable to see how much product is inside so I wouldn't know how much I have used and if I am running out.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU3QP_IkYLmYfrqPY2lICvt69LXtsljg9kTneicWuldKkpUQ2nK6XfbFyuGsbyVXZtzbrAIKlSI137JPcZzAg0T3Fhyphenhyphen7tfjGAttEhmQ4fIJD4XHvgdjzto4BtY7HFvfx3eJKdPSVvCGrwC/s1600/PLip2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU3QP_IkYLmYfrqPY2lICvt69LXtsljg9kTneicWuldKkpUQ2nK6XfbFyuGsbyVXZtzbrAIKlSI137JPcZzAg0T3Fhyphenhyphen7tfjGAttEhmQ4fIJD4XHvgdjzto4BtY7HFvfx3eJKdPSVvCGrwC/s400/PLip2.jpg" /></a></div>The brushes are attached to the tube.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEii2F-9kPQBOnQeNNd_x0sonbxWwobH7gUNq1APmSL-4TywgNkXcX0PcZc11l5dtIkI3wqaSJMigCYZ-KwkmD3bemepg_8GeenWA9klnGvyAoE26DgBkkfvm9b8_VhU20ZbByHMacjWtEom/s1600/PLip3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEii2F-9kPQBOnQeNNd_x0sonbxWwobH7gUNq1APmSL-4TywgNkXcX0PcZc11l5dtIkI3wqaSJMigCYZ-KwkmD3bemepg_8GeenWA9klnGvyAoE26DgBkkfvm9b8_VhU20ZbByHMacjWtEom/s400/PLip3.jpg" /></a></div>To get the product out, you would have to twist the tube. I didn't like that because I did not know when to expect product and it takes quite a lot of twists before the product comes out. After about ten twists, I recommend twisting them slowly or a bunch of product would just ooze right out of the brush. The brush itself is firm and not too soft to use, so it is nice to be used to apply the product. I prefer the brush of these over the Stila glosses that have similar packaging.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcDL0zD3440rz1tAZYerllLsOyQ05CR5OKYxKNhgQxsbD_9tQqiyqKt31pw29wYC2HRL0QdWoBPUYMpk4RrxPzPaiCwdXguQWMQJBY8qG94oTuxLgwQGmIX8hTJxpAzGj7QDCWH-7JzMdG/s1600/PLip4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcDL0zD3440rz1tAZYerllLsOyQ05CR5OKYxKNhgQxsbD_9tQqiyqKt31pw29wYC2HRL0QdWoBPUYMpk4RrxPzPaiCwdXguQWMQJBY8qG94oTuxLgwQGmIX8hTJxpAzGj7QDCWH-7JzMdG/s400/PLip4.jpg" /></a></div>These swatches were taken outside in direct sunlight. The amount of product that was shown above from the brush was the amount I used in all of my swatches because a little goes a long way. <br />
<br />
<b>Mango Tango</b>: Orange coral. This was pigmented and applied evenly. The stain it left behind was a slight orange-red stain. <br />
<b>Cabaret Blend</b>: Deep berry. Although this is the only one with the tube that has shimmer on it, I did not notice much shimmer from the gloss itself when applied to the lips. This was very pigmented and applied evenly and smooth. The stain was a medium berry on the lips.<br />
<b>Red Control</b>: Classic red. For me, Red Control was a bit hard to get it to be even on the lips. This was also the only shade that feathered around the lips after only an hour of wear, so a lip pencil is definitely recommended for this. This stained my lips a bit more pink than red.<br />
<b>Raspberry Tart</b>: Medium mauve. This applied evenly & smoothly. I feel like this is one of the neutrals, but not neutral. Definitely very wearable as an everyday lip. This left a slight berry stain, which I liked.<br />
<b>Pink Lemonade</b>: Pink-red. I feel like out of all the shades I have tried, this is the only shade that made my teeth look very yellow. Although I do not really like how it makes my teeth look, the formula on this was good. This left a bright pink stain after wearing it for a while.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtfWb7V6oYEdaeJpxlOXTeqmhknEeKdT0gBo4fYRiq1F1A4R0L_9Z_aT24syXShqGTZpDIBgWdP9pjk4z3RuUjjGqisQSWTc7ssln_T-KWxPlcssiVsO__fXkFdWPEC0QrEQFubH5p5v4b/s1600/PLip5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtfWb7V6oYEdaeJpxlOXTeqmhknEeKdT0gBo4fYRiq1F1A4R0L_9Z_aT24syXShqGTZpDIBgWdP9pjk4z3RuUjjGqisQSWTc7ssln_T-KWxPlcssiVsO__fXkFdWPEC0QrEQFubH5p5v4b/s400/PLip5.jpg" /></a></div>The swatches for this set of collage was taken in the shade so you can have an idea of how it would look like in different lighting. The colors are in the same order as the collage above. <br />
<br />
Overall, I feel that these are all very pigmented and a little goes a long way. These applied smoothly and does feel comfortable on the lips the first hour, but after about an hour, I feel like these feel a bit sticky and tacky on the lips, which I do not like. The shine does go away quickly so I would not say that the shine is long lasting, but the stain that it leaves behind does last until you remove the product. The color of the product wore off evenly, which is also good because it means that there's no patches on your lips where one part has more color than the others. These did not feel drying, but not moisturizing either, so I would not say these made my lips more smooth. There was only feathering when I tried Red Control, but all of these do transfer since they are glossy to start with. Although I do not like the packaging too much, I do think that the formula on these are nice since they are very pigmented and most applied smoothly and evenly without settling in my lip lines. The shades I would recommend, which are my favorites are Raspberry Tart & Cabaret Blend. <br />
<br />
These are supposed to be available this month at locations such as CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, and Milani Cosmetics online. These retail for $6.49, however, it does depend on your location depending where you buy these so it could range from $6.49 to $7.49.<br />
<br />
What do you think about these new lip products added into Milani Cosmetics line? Have you seen the displays yet?<br />

<br />
Other than Lady Marmalade, which I have reviewed yesterday, another shade I have picked up from Rimmel London's Color Rush Intense Colour Balm is Viva Violet. Like Lady Marmalade, I believe that this shade is also exclusive to the US as of now because I have not seen this shade on Rimmel's UK website. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRfx3WiLHTZg9XcInw-qvWEmZOm-0mTXZMjN3JbcWj6-tpb3GPwjfMMeMy9IvL0JUO3BVu_kzq4xp9vA6zL3-s7e8_MlMSfTyhGTuLv2bYe9jdNIQwLWXh22QqhMVv4bIPCrw7FNoNn2PS/s1600/VV.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRfx3WiLHTZg9XcInw-qvWEmZOm-0mTXZMjN3JbcWj6-tpb3GPwjfMMeMy9IvL0JUO3BVu_kzq4xp9vA6zL3-s7e8_MlMSfTyhGTuLv2bYe9jdNIQwLWXh22QqhMVv4bIPCrw7FNoNn2PS/s400/VV.jpg" /></a></div><br />
</center><span class="fullpost"> <center>The name of the product is labeled right under the "Colour Rush" part of the lip crayon itself.<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYj9gInG0jLElL6VEjA6L97qrmxhZ81NZ-l_vD2JRRGbS0D0PFD8aEG8Admk3BBU8IDkvpyNbMyeLkPLQJNDQHkHDOrdaJrwP_x_Cpw6Yek5OwNuPpsamcpPABBicpiZTMtq0a7YxSCCYs/s1600/VV2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYj9gInG0jLElL6VEjA6L97qrmxhZ81NZ-l_vD2JRRGbS0D0PFD8aEG8Admk3BBU8IDkvpyNbMyeLkPLQJNDQHkHDOrdaJrwP_x_Cpw6Yek5OwNuPpsamcpPABBicpiZTMtq0a7YxSCCYs/s400/VV2.jpg" /></a></div>When applied, it is not very violet-like, but magenta, which is similar to how it looks in the tube. Although the tube does show the color a bit darker, it applied lighter. Viva Violet applied very smoothly and evenly, and it did not emphasize the dry spots on my lips at all, which is different than Lady Marmalade. I also feel like Viva Violet is more pigmented than Lady Marmalade because it was not as translucent as it when applied. Because of the finish, it does transfer, however, I did not experience any bleeding from the times that I was trying it. Viva Violet was lightweight and moisturizing, which is nice because this felt like a balm consistency, but with a bunch of color. After a while of wearing it, I ate a huge bowl of Pho and even though the color itself did not look like it did when I first applied it, the color was still intense on my lips, but without the shiny finish. It left a even-looking stain on the lips, which was nice and I had to remove it with my Bobbi Brown eye & lip remover to get the product off. Like the previous review, this also has a vanilla scent to it. Overall, I definitely liked the formula on Viva Violet because it did not emphasize the dry spots on my lips and felt very comfortable, however, I do wish the color was more like the name. <br />
<br />
What do you think about Viva Violet? Is it a shade you would wear?<br />

<big><big><center>Swatches & Review</big></big><br />
<br />
It's been a while, but Rimmel London has finally brought their line of Colour Rush Colour Balms to the United States! The Colour Rush balms are Rimmel's version of lip crayons. It totally seems like this is the year for lip crayons since many brands have them out for Spring, such as the ones from NYC & Wet n Wild. When I heard of its release of these in the US a week and a half ago, I went crazy looking everywhere for it pretty much every single day & I finally found them yesterday. It also seems like Rimmel London has also added some shades to the Colour Rush Intense Colour Balm line for stores in the US. One of the shades that I picked up is Lady Marmalade, which I believe is only released in the US for now. <br />

I feel like this applied sheer, and even after a few swipes, it is still a bit translucent. This emphasized every bit of dry spot that I had on my lips so you would definitely need to exfoliate before applying Lady Marmalade. Although it emphasized dry spots, the product itself did not feel very drying on the lips. It feel creamy and lightweight on the lips, which made it comfortable, but since it has a shiny finish, it does transfer. There is a vanilla scent to the Colour Rush Balms, which smells like MAC lipsticks. I like it better than the Kate Moss and Show Off's line because I did not like the artificial fruity scent in those products. After wearing it for a few hours, it leaves a slight stain behind. Overall, I liked the feeling of the product on my lips since it was lightweight, but I wish it was a bit more opaque and did not emphasize the dry spots on my lips too much. <br />
<br />
Since lip crayons are my weakness, products like these have been taking over for the new year & it is SO bad since I said I would spend less, but it was a major fail! Anyway, what do you think about the Colour Rush Colour Balms? Have you tried them yet? Are there shades that might interest you from this line? <br />
<br />
I purchased mine from Walmart for $4.98 and it contains 0.095 oz of product.<br />

<big><big><center>Swatches & Review</big></big><br />
<br />
A few months ago, Cargo Cosmetics released a new line of lipsticks called the Essential Lip Color. There are twelve shades in this line and most of them are named after vacation spots, such as Punta Cana, Paris, Las Vegas, Napa, etc. One of the shades I purchased is Punta Cana because last summer, I was on a pink-lip craze. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOGFK0AdlaPKaZtFgKak4p4CrIYx7JpQapYqaKOujslDOEb0whR80pC82qPwkEmB8G04IZZe8fGl4Bp9ITdeLhc4LPnISSEayc9LC0UJeRu03n1jU5tkgEDaqON1IVFT59M7P6V_KEVpY-/s1600/PC1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOGFK0AdlaPKaZtFgKak4p4CrIYx7JpQapYqaKOujslDOEb0whR80pC82qPwkEmB8G04IZZe8fGl4Bp9ITdeLhc4LPnISSEayc9LC0UJeRu03n1jU5tkgEDaqON1IVFT59M7P6V_KEVpY-/s400/PC1.jpg" /></a></div><br />
</center><span class="fullpost"> <center>The Essential Lip Colors packaging is really similar to Urban Decay's Revolution lipsticks, but it is all grey instead of gunmetal & purple. It is very slim and does not attract much fingerprints, so I like it. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdTkLWB2ZBJBkjcmPVDKSct46TxAu1w2CYFS0lMtpq9hAIdReHLoMtQgzewwM1L7424bfsZcN0AGprjuXtz6ZNxcx1uDzA4xe-o7NuFQa50FKOn1LZstbRC-UYYWW145fenKp1QumVHps8/s1600/PC2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdTkLWB2ZBJBkjcmPVDKSct46TxAu1w2CYFS0lMtpq9hAIdReHLoMtQgzewwM1L7424bfsZcN0AGprjuXtz6ZNxcx1uDzA4xe-o7NuFQa50FKOn1LZstbRC-UYYWW145fenKp1QumVHps8/s400/PC2.jpg" /></a></div><br />
Punta Cana is a hot pink/fuchsia, and it definitely packs a bunch of color when applied. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7wgeBF2ufIPUl8McqTOhjGPCu28jXrX13B7IqJHiGPDTIy2zY1zViuxU4y6cehPlyjAWdqUDNBRbdwcj84i6mY0z6o6tTjJ2FQRqqGIhAdmVloU36hicUJPd6rMKCNsRpq1ponpYBkewY/s1600/PC.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7wgeBF2ufIPUl8McqTOhjGPCu28jXrX13B7IqJHiGPDTIy2zY1zViuxU4y6cehPlyjAWdqUDNBRbdwcj84i6mY0z6o6tTjJ2FQRqqGIhAdmVloU36hicUJPd6rMKCNsRpq1ponpYBkewY/s400/PC.jpg" /></a></div><br />
Punta Cana applied very smoothly and evenly. It was very pigmented because it only needed on swipe across the lips for it to be opaque. It was also very creamy, but it did not make the color uneven whenever the lips are pressed together. Because it is creamy, it did not emphasize much on dry patches on the lips, and was not very drying on the lips. Although it was very rich in color, it felt light on the lips. I did not experience any feathering with the product, but it did transfer because it has a shiny finish to it. After the shine wears off from eating/drinking, the color itself still stays on the lips. After about 6 hours to wear, I noticed that the color on my bottom lip faded a bit more than my upper lip, but the color was still very bright. To remove it, you would need a remover because it stains the lips if you just try wiping it off with a tissue. There is no scent or taste to the lipstick, which is good because I know many people do not like scents in their lipsticks. Overall, the formula for this was fantastic because it was lightweight without being sheer, and it applied very nicely and was pretty long-lasting to me. <br />
<br />
The Cargo Cosmetics Essential Lip Colors retail for $22 and can be purchased at Ulta, Cargo Cosmetics Online, Kohls Beauty & Dermstore. <br />

<big><big><center>Swatches & Review</big></big><br />
<br />
For 2014, NYC has a new collection of lip products called the City Proof Twistables. I was super excited because I love lip products that come like a chubby stick/lip crayon. When I first saw the display, I grabbed a bunch, but I ended up only purchasing two of them since they are supposed to be permanent so I am in no rush to get it. One of the colors I purchased was Gramercy Park Plum. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFHDyo67WiIr6SQnRUx2G-VZnt9sHfBTHE_4AhCaQovDks8ag8wq_i0TpTzDx9o7uVEiYSPaKFnsfBDR6WivF1bJy_J5mI_kF646vyP4M84fveaxXPxPLRuwgiJhKEOQ8rkKU19kZds9CM/s1600/GPP.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhFHDyo67WiIr6SQnRUx2G-VZnt9sHfBTHE_4AhCaQovDks8ag8wq_i0TpTzDx9o7uVEiYSPaKFnsfBDR6WivF1bJy_J5mI_kF646vyP4M84fveaxXPxPLRuwgiJhKEOQ8rkKU19kZds9CM/s400/GPP.jpg" /></a></div><br />
</center><span class="fullpost"> <center>The plastic packaging of these have colors that coordinate with the shade itself. Like the name of this, these are twistable so no sharpening is required.<br />

<br />

After I purchased this, I realized it was a bit brighter than when I saw it in the store because of the lighting, but it is a nice pink berry, but not very plum-my to me. This was very pigmented & applied smoothly and evenly. It is kind of glossy, so the product does transfer. I also noticed that there was slight feathering around my lips after a few hours of wearing it, so I would recommend using a clear liner with it. There is also a sweet scent with this, which really reminds me of Rimmel London's Kate Moss lipsticks that come int he black tubes. I'm not really a fan of the scent, but it does fade away after applying. This wore for about four hours on me and it faded into a slight even stain on my lips. I still have one more to try that I haven't yet, but I do like how pigmented these are. <br />
<br />
The suggested retail price of this is $2.99, but this retails for $3.99 at all locations for me and has 0.07 oz of product. I purchased mine at K-Mart, but these can also be found at CVS and Rite Aid locations. <br />
<br />
What do you think about jumbo lip pencils/chubby sticks? Which is your favorite brand for lip crayons like these?<br />

<br />
It's <big>2014!</big>!! I hope everyone had an amazing ending to 2013, and a fabulous start to 2014! :)<br />
<br />
For Spring 2014, Wet n Wild have a new line added to their lip products called the Megaslicks Balm Stain Moisturizing Lip Colour. There are six shades in this line, but I have purchased three to test out. The Megaslicks Balm Stain are basically like Revlon's Balm Stains or Clinique's Chubby Sticks, where the product twists up and down with no sharpening needed. <br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKcskkQy5wAyopHB0o3ltQhZeaIBFpwS3lBaGIrMwgoDJXkX9xfQmXgUc-cpQH1HssHPB2pbUqzOsblWObIBK8dey7aefVUSi2wVyjHWv8waIQX1mY3w6oZKtMW-pvdKrKe1jBsVqEo2qV/s1600/wnw5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKcskkQy5wAyopHB0o3ltQhZeaIBFpwS3lBaGIrMwgoDJXkX9xfQmXgUc-cpQH1HssHPB2pbUqzOsblWObIBK8dey7aefVUSi2wVyjHWv8waIQX1mY3w6oZKtMW-pvdKrKe1jBsVqEo2qV/s400/wnw5.jpg" /></a></div><b>Lady and the Vamp</b>: Brownish-berry. It was a bit sheer so I had to build the color up and applied kind of streaky. This also settled into lip lines, but it is not very noticeable unless it is upclose. This left a bright pink stain behind. <br />
<br />
When I first smelled it, I didn't smell any scent, but if you really sniff it, you will smell a very very faint minty scent. It tingles a bit on the lips, nothing major, and it was comfortable to wear because it really felt like a balm. They all had a glossy finish, but it did not bleed/feather. However, it does transfer since it is glossy. They wore for about three hours and once the product itself is off the lips, an even colored stain is left behind so it looks like there's still lip color on the lips. For $2.99, these were actually really good. I'm definitely hoping that Wet n Wild will come out with more colors for this line!<br />
<br />
These retail for $2.99 and contains 0.10 oz of product. Each of them had a $1 peel off sticker, which made them $1.99 when I purchased it. <br />
<br />
What do you think about these Wet n Wild Balm Stains? Have you tried any of them yet?<br />

For their Winter collection, Zoya has released six rose tone neutral shades called the Naturel collection. In the past, Zoya has released neutral collections, such as the Feel collection & the Touch nude collection. <br />

This was very thin and watery, which applied sheer and streaky. You have to wait for the first layer to completely dry before adding on the second layer because will drag and create bald spots on the nails. I used three coats for Chantal.<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGa7e72QyaITK4hwYWF05QFe8qeDmezMJSu2sjk0ZH-wrPri7sxr6vJRk4fphZ2AX1zkEX3z8RspOs66lvqu0PUxNa6ZPfGESz-Qk3UiAS4e_0JTxxkWkoeL5ek6USnf0jlMGfcnchRri5/s1600/naturel6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGa7e72QyaITK4hwYWF05QFe8qeDmezMJSu2sjk0ZH-wrPri7sxr6vJRk4fphZ2AX1zkEX3z8RspOs66lvqu0PUxNa6ZPfGESz-Qk3UiAS4e_0JTxxkWkoeL5ek6USnf0jlMGfcnchRri5/s400/naturel6.jpg" /></a></div><b>Odette</b>: Dusty purple creme. This was very pigmented & applied evenly. I used two coats for the swatches.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs5WmbTHqeBXyJMcEoNQTo8jSlpSKVTAdPJTj-_DCgE0yJrOtC9Z3cowtxtfq3fYGR4XAJ2fVmcN5cBOI_j3ThyWae79DI8Lcsv0tbz4XP-l0fUG0A6p7XVzMmvoJ-zoHQj-j9jfnAJuGl/s1600/naturel7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs5WmbTHqeBXyJMcEoNQTo8jSlpSKVTAdPJTj-_DCgE0yJrOtC9Z3cowtxtfq3fYGR4XAJ2fVmcN5cBOI_j3ThyWae79DI8Lcsv0tbz4XP-l0fUG0A6p7XVzMmvoJ-zoHQj-j9jfnAJuGl/s400/naturel7.jpg" /></a></div><b>Normani</b>: Although Zoya describes this as a taupe, I feel like this is more of a dusty taupe. This was also very pigmented & applied nicely. <br />
<br />
Although the darker shades in this collection do not seem very "naturel", it really does fit with the theme because they are very soft looking on the nails. Chantal & Taylor were harder to apply, but the rest of the collection applied very nicely. The dry time is a bit long, which is similar to other Zoya's, but I feel that Rue actually dried a bit fast on me compared to the rest. My favorites in the collection is Rue and Brigitte. <br />
<br />
This collection is available now and it retails for $9 a bottle on <a href="http://www.zoya.com">Zoya.com</a>(Non-affilicated). <br />
<br />
What do you think about the Naturel collection? Have you purchased any shades from this collection? :)<br />

<big><big><center>Swatches & Review</big></big><br />
<br />
Maple Kiss is one of the ten shades from Maybelline's new ColorSensational The Buffs collection. Maple Kiss is supposed to be one of the lighter shades, but it has more color than the usual "nude" lipstick, which makes it very wearable to many skintones.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7i1GCdmaGU9enHnnxM42qRCPpbNrPGmL3R2AM8dJptXeMWry38-16RCCh3pf74mrJDTR8x19Cnm8Ly5othqeHAO16aUwfiblc1m2U-nztkUR1ApWlSjUL9MBXiQl7WmSqLvo2hfHjAs3-/s1600/MK.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7i1GCdmaGU9enHnnxM42qRCPpbNrPGmL3R2AM8dJptXeMWry38-16RCCh3pf74mrJDTR8x19Cnm8Ly5othqeHAO16aUwfiblc1m2U-nztkUR1ApWlSjUL9MBXiQl7WmSqLvo2hfHjAs3-/s400/MK.jpg" /></a></div><br />
</center><span class="fullpost"> <center>From the tube, the lipstick looks like it has a shimmer in it. The color from the tube really makes me think of maple syrup! <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhduyD12bfJE796Q9hQ13pM2hkp-oRL8-hTKNJJO9u2fBxV5Nj_85rkIX2zeDoqmb82W07D7wFiskQPHloc1W1JDvCh3vSHglDVNggsr2qsC1XMugZQNCTVGnzjMJTHxjsmOCudk1yszdPT/s1600/MK1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhduyD12bfJE796Q9hQ13pM2hkp-oRL8-hTKNJJO9u2fBxV5Nj_85rkIX2zeDoqmb82W07D7wFiskQPHloc1W1JDvCh3vSHglDVNggsr2qsC1XMugZQNCTVGnzjMJTHxjsmOCudk1yszdPT/s400/MK1.jpg" /></a></div>When swatched on my lips, it looks kind of like a copper shade, which I actually like. The shimmer does not show up once applied either.<br />
<br />
Like the last shade I reviewed, Maple Kiss applied evenly & smooth. The formula of this was not very slippery, so I did not see any unevenness on my lips. Since the finish of these are kind of glossy, this does transfer, but it does last a while on the lips. Like all of the Maybelline ColorSensational lipsticks, this has a sweet honey scent to it, but the scent fades quickly after applying. I would not really call this a "nude", but it definitely is a lip color that is easy to wear. <br />
<br />
What do you think about Maple Kiss? Which color from the three that I have reviewed do you prefer? <br />

<br />
The other day, I reviewed <a href="http://swatchesandwhatnot.blogspot.com/2013/12/maybelline-colorsensational-buffs.html">Untainted Spice</a> from Maybelline's ColorSensational The Buffs collection and today, I have Touchable Taupe for you! Touchable Taupe is one of the lightest shades from the four that I purchased, but there are definitely ones lighter from the display that I did not purchase. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_HsXpTMdunc1qk4RajLzPULIL6Ok-MCOWcDHH5XIfEnKrZp-QnqxA6U4w4XFZxu_tjlkFPqQY-0VNslGf70j6w6QZkjJhPL2E7j2aeXvIuIT4M1ZRAKKW1GW1pY3Xiow2eoOAVBKXnQNt/s1600/TT.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_HsXpTMdunc1qk4RajLzPULIL6Ok-MCOWcDHH5XIfEnKrZp-QnqxA6U4w4XFZxu_tjlkFPqQY-0VNslGf70j6w6QZkjJhPL2E7j2aeXvIuIT4M1ZRAKKW1GW1pY3Xiow2eoOAVBKXnQNt/s400/TT.jpg" /></a></div><br />

It ended up being a nude that I can wear that is not too light or too dark for me. <br />
<br />
Touchable Taupe applied very creamy & evenly. I did not see my natural lip color with two swipes and that's pretty good since nudes sometimes end up applying unevenly, which normally does not look too natural for me. Before trying it, I was kind of worried that Touchable Taupe might be a bit light for me, but it turned out to me my favorite so far, and it might be one of the favorite nudes that I own. Like all of the Maybelline ColorSensational lipsticks, this has a sweet honey scent to it, but the scent fades quickly after applying. I felt like this was moisturizing, but after about three hours, it started fading, but I'm not surprised since it was so creamy and it is a nude, so you would need to re-apply it after eating or drinking. I would actually buy a back-up of this because I feel like this would be a nice everyday color for me and it is not often that I am able to find a nude that works for me.<br />
<br />
What do you think about Touchable Taupe? Have you seen the shades offered in The Buffs collection? What color do you think will suit you best?<br />

<big><big><center>Swatches & Review</big></big><br />
<br />
Since matte eyeshadows are my favorite finish, I had to purchase It Cosmetic's Matte eyeshadow palette. I purchased this when they had their 25% off friends & family sale and finally got around to trying it. The Naturally Pretty Matte Luxe Eyeshadow Palette Vol. 1 comes with fifteen shades. Fourteen of the shades are supposed to be matte and one of them is a transforming pearl shade, which you can layer over the matte shades for a pearl finish, or used alone. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikzSxnZ69bIsGfgK4c8CBIrL0IgaMPkP0obrvvDDt0y30et3nWfdUAUSrHc7nX9N4WVHpBS7ZBBACHSU6iyfjz6PgIMnR3UptMQeIRVC6U-X_QaCrlI8It07VbYe44joaivjPL7ekssfew/s1600/NPMatte.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikzSxnZ69bIsGfgK4c8CBIrL0IgaMPkP0obrvvDDt0y30et3nWfdUAUSrHc7nX9N4WVHpBS7ZBBACHSU6iyfjz6PgIMnR3UptMQeIRVC6U-X_QaCrlI8It07VbYe44joaivjPL7ekssfew/s400/NPMatte.jpg" /></a></div>The palette itself is packaged in a pink soft suede-like cover on the outside, and the inside is a reflective gold, which I actually do not like because the gold looks a bit tacky and the cover would easily get dirty and it would be hard to clean. <br />
<br />

<center>Although the matte is supposed to be a matte palette, some shades were not fully matte, but had a slight sheen to them. Most of the shades were buttery and applied smoothly, but I feel like some of the true matte shades applied pretty chalky because they were a bit dry (Noir, Java & Iconic). There is a bit of fall out with the eyeshadows because they were either too soft, or a bit powdery so I would recommend tapping your brush before applying. I just wish all of the shades were really matte instead of having a slight sheen to them.<br />
When layered with the transforming pearl, the colors do lighten a bit, but the concept is pretty nice.<br />
<br />
Even though this is not about the palette, I would like to say that they have amazing customer service. When I purchased this, they had a guaranteed delivery within 7 business days. Since I had free shipping, it was supposed to be delivered with standard ground shipping, but because they were backed up in processing, they upgraded my shipping to next-day air so I would get the palette within the time-frame free of charge. They were quick to respond to messages via e-mail and were super helpful, which is definitely a good thing about the company. <br />
<br />
This palette retails for $42 and can be purchased from <a href="http://www.itcosmetics.com">itcosmetics</a> online (non-affiliated link) & Ulta locations that carry the brand. <br />
<br />
What do you think about this palette? Do you like matte finish eyeshadows, or do you prefer other finishes? <br />

<br />
When EM Cosmetics had a 30% off promotion with Ipsy, I purchased Passion Berries because I have been wanting to try their lip products, but did not want to pay full-price. From the website itself, I purchased it because I thought it would be more of a deep purple berry color, but once it arrived, the shade was definitely lighter than I thought it was.<br />

I was a bit disappointed because I was hoping it would be more of a purple-berry, but the color itself is not too bad. This definitely is not the most unique color though. For a matte lipstick, I found that it was pretty creamy and not too drying, but it definitely does emphasize dry spots on your lips so you would definitely need to exfoliate before using this. Because it is matte, it does not transfer a lot and it stays on the lips for a while. After about four hours of wear, I found that this started bleeding so I would recommend using a lip liner with this also. After removing, the color still stayed on my lip lines and it was super hard to get it off, so it was not very flattering because the stain lasted about a day and it wouldn't even come off when I exfoliated. This was a nice color, but not enough for me to actually want to pay full-price for this. <br />
<br />
The EM Cosmetic's lipsticks retail for $16.50 and can be purchased from <a href="http://www.emcosmetics.com">emcosmetics</a> (non-affiliated link).<br />

What do you think about EM Cosmetic's Michelle Phan's line? Have you tried anything from them? Is there anything you would like to try?<br />

<br />
Hi Everyone! It's been a while, but I just submitted my <b>last</b> final for the Fall semester so I will be back blogging during my break & I definitely have a lot to catch up on! Anyway, one of the newest lip collections out are the new Maybelline ColorSensational The Buff's lipsticks. These lipsticks are supposed to be part of the new lipstick collection for 2014 and it contains 10 brand-new, neutral/nude shades. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY0H-sWHVFfXGWWCO4Icrdm-qv2UIzJoSerM6IgZqQbcrCHGGniExj20Bzdkr3n7q2so4ZEfCAcZ2yunqCzcn-hNtFegZzcsywD3Bxv6K6ajwIAyDfPsodOOlHKP4uJFLdgnV-jWVNnZl8/s1600/US.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY0H-sWHVFfXGWWCO4Icrdm-qv2UIzJoSerM6IgZqQbcrCHGGniExj20Bzdkr3n7q2so4ZEfCAcZ2yunqCzcn-hNtFegZzcsywD3Bxv6K6ajwIAyDfPsodOOlHKP4uJFLdgnV-jWVNnZl8/s400/US.jpg" /></a></div>The Buffs lipstick line is packaged with a soft looking beige cap. I actually really like this tube compared to the orange from the Vivids because it is very soft-looking and just nice.. to me at least!<br />
</center><span class="fullpost"> <center><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7LaH1GzCsMvzS6so4NfwP_LcXoFiHft7wC7Mh5vmkS1bSpMg48Gc-mSTd4piQEndUFhjUJctQB5Z9tQRIRVMPImgDVdpphlz33FpLwTKxlk-VtipJfh0fjS2pm8fsLCzK09tcswLS_pq6/s1600/US1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh7LaH1GzCsMvzS6so4NfwP_LcXoFiHft7wC7Mh5vmkS1bSpMg48Gc-mSTd4piQEndUFhjUJctQB5Z9tQRIRVMPImgDVdpphlz33FpLwTKxlk-VtipJfh0fjS2pm8fsLCzK09tcswLS_pq6/s400/US1.jpg" /></a></div>Untainted Spice looks kind of like a pink-ish medium brown. (It should a bit browner, but it showed up like this in most of the pictures. It looks like this when it is under a light indoors, but a bit browner when outdoors)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAqIx866D4e8G-zYt-VnO2eUf1ay-buQBepIi7PHyCsHiIUK09MRY7AwfPbLtCHahvwrUBecElDKg0GWimFS4bhT9jxRLCykXs8cZqHoNhpJa9Vth8LfZ35kKkaeL0WazlIv8GMWcUC87n/s1600/US2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAqIx866D4e8G-zYt-VnO2eUf1ay-buQBepIi7PHyCsHiIUK09MRY7AwfPbLtCHahvwrUBecElDKg0GWimFS4bhT9jxRLCykXs8cZqHoNhpJa9Vth8LfZ35kKkaeL0WazlIv8GMWcUC87n/s400/US2.jpg" /></a></div>All of the pictures were taken outdoor except the lower right picture, which was taken indoor. <br />
<br />
When I am outdoors, you can see that the lipstick is like a pink-brown, but once I am indoors, it looks darker and just a medium-brown. Untainted Spice is creamy with no shimmer, so it was not drying for the first three hours. It applied evenly and it was pretty pigmented. Because it is creamy, is does transfer, but it did not feather or bleed within the time that I tried it. It is a bit on the darker side so if your skin-tone is fair or light, this may actually look very dark on you instead of a "neutral". The scent of these are like the usual Maybelline ColorSensational Lipstick scent, which is a bit sweet.<br />
<br />
Overall, I like how there is a wide range of neutral shades so that many people would be able to find one that will work for them instead of washing them out. Like all other Maybelline lipsticks, I wish there was a safety seal on them because it has nothing, so people can easily just open these and test them without buying them, which makes it frustrating for those who do want to buy them. <br />
<br />
I purchased mine at Rite Aid, and they retail for $9.49 at Rite Aid locations near me. The prices may vary depending on location, where it may be cheaper at Target & Walmart, but around the same price I paid for at CVS & Walgreens. <br />
<br />
What do you think about Untainted Spice? Have you seen colors from The Buffs collection that you are interested in?<br />

<br />
Hi everyone! Sorry it's been a while, I have been loaded with school work, taking care of my family members as well as moving so I have not had much time to blog in a while. Anyway, LORAC has released two new 5-pan eyeshadow palettes that are limited edition and exclusive to Ulta. Since last year's black Friday, LORAC has released a total of five 5-pan eyeshadow palettes, which I like to call the $12 palettes because they were all priced at $12 whether it has been sold at Ulta or Nordstrom Rack. Solid Gold is one of the ones for the Holiday at Ulta and it has a semi-matte bronze packaging and neutral shades inside. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAmwqy-9wlZYSb4spYCmCt99W9Vznb1SLGoi_BLhEzEiL7LDG1cymSqmvSl2xKuSPTrR2Rf-W6Q7ZcIyzachx4PnJ8lsJw6ybF7zhb72l7-tQjKu0uQI2tGSnLG1NRqTXcJT_R6OUqwsh4/s1600/SG.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAmwqy-9wlZYSb4spYCmCt99W9Vznb1SLGoi_BLhEzEiL7LDG1cymSqmvSl2xKuSPTrR2Rf-W6Q7ZcIyzachx4PnJ8lsJw6ybF7zhb72l7-tQjKu0uQI2tGSnLG1NRqTXcJT_R6OUqwsh4/s400/SG.jpg" /></a></div><br />
</center><span class="fullpost"> <center><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgG4fn5Ldr6aQJd-KMhiOC76d9ssxVKlMdICO9ApIpjj7meNUIG3GApkEJq152RwfpLEbxRrI2N5c1Nwu2wo0Sf2-lnBF52wAqUyqBWiU4zlncLyklTVumIhP01UbpvwaHrybELG9KtkDJy/s1600/SG1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgG4fn5Ldr6aQJd-KMhiOC76d9ssxVKlMdICO9ApIpjj7meNUIG3GApkEJq152RwfpLEbxRrI2N5c1Nwu2wo0Sf2-lnBF52wAqUyqBWiU4zlncLyklTVumIhP01UbpvwaHrybELG9KtkDJy/s400/SG1.jpg" /></a></div>The colors seem like they would complement the other 5-pan palettes in Uptown Allure & Sweet Luxuries because it has neutral shades.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdbNvZa_5yCHzTvO65V5aI9h1qhuiLaqKqJntYnglQkwp9rf8YSb0OFUxHbWB6EaNH6u9Ccu-k_owjsF0Ri21AtZiwWa2ruXOXwZgshFnGgPek3M7hW6jbR86NCIc6cYg8CEdWl49GAfcQ/s1600/SG2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdbNvZa_5yCHzTvO65V5aI9h1qhuiLaqKqJntYnglQkwp9rf8YSb0OFUxHbWB6EaNH6u9Ccu-k_owjsF0Ri21AtZiwWa2ruXOXwZgshFnGgPek3M7hW6jbR86NCIc6cYg8CEdWl49GAfcQ/s400/SG2.jpg" /></a></div>Like I have said in my previous posts about these palettes, I wish they were named.<br />
1) Frosty white: This was smooth and pigmented.<br />
2) Frosty beige: Although this leans a bit more yellow, it still looks very similar to the first shade. This was not as smooth and pigmented as the frosty white.<br />
3) Metallic gold: It was stiff and hard to apply. I had high hopes for this because I feel like this palette was based off of this shade because it's a gold and normally, gold shadows apply super well for me, but this was not. It was hard to swatch with finger and it was hard for me to pick up any color with a brush.<br />
4) Brown with slight sheen: This was also a bit hard to apply, but it was better than the metallic gold.<br />
5) Matte black with gold glitter: This applied like the fourth shade, but the glitter does fall-out and does not stick to the lids so I would definitely recommend tapping your brush to get some glitter out.<br />
<br />
Overall, I feel like this was pretty disappointing. I own many LORAC palettes I feel like this was also not up to LORAC's normal eyeshadow quality, like how Downtown Drama was. I was really hoping that it would be like <a href="http://swatchesandwhatnot.blogspot.com/2012/11/lorac-sweet-luxuries-palette.html">Sweet Luxuries</a> and <a href="http://swatchesandwhatnot.blogspot.com/2013/08/lorac-uptown-allure-eyeshadow-palette.html">Uptown Allure</a> because I loved those. I also did not like that LORAC put two similar shades in this palette like they did with Uptown Allure because the Frosty White and Frosty Beige looks very similar to each other. I have heard from some people that theirs applied better than mine did so maybe there are some good ones, but there were inconsistent batches maybe? But this is definitely a skip for me. <br />
<br />
This palette retails for $12 and each eyeshadow is about 0.06 oz in size (which pretty much a full-sized Urban Decay eyeshadow). This is limited edition and exclusive to Ulta in-stores and online. <br />

Since I thought Wet n Wild's Coverall Foundation was a decent drugstore foundation that is super cheap, I decided to try their new BB Cream from the Fergie line. Unlike other BB Creams offered in the US, there are five shades in this line so I was able to find one that would fit my skintone better. I purchased this in Medium/Deep & I am NC 30 - NC 35 in MAC and 123 in MUFE foundations. This is supposed to be a 8 in 1 product, which is supposed to hydrate, brighten, prime, conceal, smooth, oil-control, even tone & have SPF 15.<br />

After applying the BB Cream, it evened out my skintone. The coverage for the BB Cream is light to medium.<br />

Okay so I would like to say that this product smells <b>terrible</b>. The scent was not too strong when I smelled it from the tube and when I smelled it from the product I placed on my hand because it just smelled like foundation, but once applied to my face, the odor was strong and pretty much stayed on my face the whole time I had the product on. <br />
<br />
Compared to BB Creams I have tried from Korean brands, this feels more like a tinted moisturizer than a BB Cream, and I'm not surprised since most brands that have "BB Creams" are more like tinted moisturizers. The BB Creams I have (Etude House, Missha, Lioele) all have an SPF of 30 and over and this is only 15. This felt light on the face and the consistency was thin, whereas BB Creams are lightweight, but thick and creamy. Although this "BB Cream" claims to have oil-control, I was pretty shiny after applying this and even after using powder, I quickly became oily again so I would say that there is no oil-control on this at all, and the skin area around my lips dried and were flaky after wearing this, which is weird because this does not usually happen to me and this claimed to be hydrating, which it is also not, so wearing this made my skin greasy and dry at the same time? Sorry Wet n Wild, but I do not like this "BB Cream". I would rather stick to using the Coverall Foundation because it is cheaper, does not have a super strong odor, and it has a bit more coverage. The Wet n Wild Fergie BB Cream retails for $5.62 and can be purchased at Walmart locations that carry Wet n Wild. <br />
<br />
What do you think about BB Creams? Have you tried one you really liked?<br />
